The kit should also contain bandaging materials in various sizes. The kit should contain antibiotics ointments for the skin and for the eyes, wound disinfectants, antidiarrhea and antihistamines. Due to the inquisitive nature, dogs get poisoned. The first aid kit must have activated charcoal or hydrogen peroxide as these substances will stabilize the condition of the pet before it is rushed to a veterinary facility. Lastly, it would be a better idea if the contact numbers of the vet will be written on the cover of the first aid box.
